ANTA Charity Fun Run

ANTA Charity Fun Run is a running event promoting physical activity, health awareness, and a commitment to healthy living, introduced by ANTA Brunei. This initiative extends beyond personal wellness by partnering with Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, a charity organisation supporting individuals with special needs through education, rehabilitation, and training in which a portion of the event proceeds will directly benefit them. To enhance the reach and impact of this initiative, we are supported, and have collaboration with the Health Promotion Centre through the H.E.A.L programme.

HOW IS MORTAR EVENTS INVOLVED?

Mortar Events has joined hands with ANTA to make this charitable endeavour a resounding success by providing our services including event management, digital marketing, and merchandising.

The Run

3KM and 5KM Fun Runs

Both the 3KM and 5KM Fun Runs cordially invite the public to join, including families, friends, and individual or group runners. The event will take place at Taman SOAS, near Bandar Ku Ceria, aiming to raise awareness about Pusat Ehsan’s efforts to support the Special Needs community and utilizing the registration proceeds for this cause.

Why are we doing this?

At the core of our mission is a commitment to making a meaningful impact in through the rehabilitation and educational pursuit for the Special Needs community of Brunei. Pusat Ehsan Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, a non-governmental organisation, stands as a beacon of support during the challenging journey of treatment, providing both practical assistance and a warm community.

This event aims to raise funds for Pusat Ehsan, and at the same time, encourage community members to adopt healthier lifestyles by integrating regular physical activity into their daily routines.

Additionally, we aim to raise awareness about common health issues and provide practical information on how to prevent and manage them.

How are we doing this?

The funds generated during these events will be directed towards supporting Pusat Ehsan’s significant initiatives for the Special Needs community through donations and supportive endeavours such as collaborative efforts and spreading awareness through the Fun Run.

OUR PARTNERS

ANTA Brunei – A sportswear brand that has grown to become one of the largest sportswear companies in the world, provided by One Sports Sdn. Bhd., wishes to serve the growing sports community here in Brunei with quality, high performance products with a good price point.

HPC and HEAL Programme – Supports physical activity interventions in community setting through building, strengthening, and maintaining social networks that create opportunities for physical activity AIM:

To raise awareness and knowledge of the multiple health benefits of regular physical activity and reduced sedentary behaviour in the community settings
To engage and form partnerships between community, schools, private businesses, health centres, sports and recreational stakeholders to promote and engage in culturally appropriate physical activities
To promote and conduct at least 2 mass physical activity sessions in all 4 districts through engagement and partnerships

Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam – A non-governmental, charity organisation dedicated to providing quality education, rehabilitation, and training programs for individuals with special needs. Pusat Ehsan’s programs support every individual with special needs in education, training, and physical rehabilitation. Each month, the majority of their expenses go toward operational costs to ensure the training programs run smoothly for special needs students.

Proton Brunei – Proton is committed to empowering individuals, families, and communities in Brunei to foster healthy development and well-being. This dedication is exemplified through the support extended to Pusat Ehsan’s initiatives during the upcoming fun run.
